The rain held off, there were patches of blue sky and even the sun decided to shine through on the Bellingen Energy Festival held at the Bellingen Showground last Saturday.  There was a large turnout of renewable and energy efficiency enthusiasts who made the rounds of the local retail outlets including Bellingen Solar to see what they had on offer.

With energy prices projected to increase by more than 64% by 2013 people know improving energy efficiency in both their homes and businesses will help save them money and at the same time it will help save the environment.

All the guys from Bellingen Solar were there to answer any and all questions, including Steve for Stand Alone Solar Power Solutions, Scott on Grid Connect Solar and Hills Solar Hot Water and Craig on all things LED Lighting.  You couldn’t miss the Bellingen Solar team who were distinctly dressed in their bright green “Solar Power to the People” enviro tees now on sale in our showroom in a variety of colours for all the family.

Solar Active Man and his ever faithful companion Sunny Boy made a surprise appearance when they heard the evil Coal Fire was going to try and destroy the festival but luckily arrived just in time to stop him and giving the children great entertainment. All were given free yellow and green balloons which soon spread amongst the crowd and gave it a real festival flavour.
