Solar stand alone power systems operate independently from mains power and are generally used in remote areas where connection to the grid is expensive.

The following kits are a guide as to what can be achieved with stand alone solar energy. The systems are flexible and easily tailored to suit your needs and budget. We recommend a custom design before purchasing a system. The components in the kits are of the highest quality.
- Solar Panels – Schott Solar, German quality. (Quality economical panels also available)
- Inverters - Selectronic and Latronics, legendary Australian manufacturers.
- Batteries - Exide and Raylight, industry leading quality. The battery banks in the kits are vented lead acid. Gel batteries are a good low maintenance alternative. Gel batteries typically cost 60 to 100% more than vented lead acid battery banks.
The systems have been designed to run for around 3 days with no solar input. A backup generator is required for extended cloudy periods.
An STC rebate is applicable to systems. The STC rebate can be claimed through the ORER clearing house @$40 per STC. Alternatively the STCs can be claimed as an upfront discount for the market rate on the day the installation is completed. Learn More

Please note...
- All systems have been designed to run for 3-4 days unassisted during rainy periods.
- The rebates have not been deducted from the cost of the systems.
- Installation costs are site dependant.
- A battery charger is included in systems 2 - 6. A back up generator must be purchased to provide input for these chargers during extended rainy periods.
